El Banco del Bienestar permitirá a las y los beneficiarios de los Programas para el Bienestar de todas las comunidades del país cobrar sus apoyos sin necesidad de hacer traslados largos. Además dará acceso a la banca a personas de bajos recursos.
La secretaria de Bienestar, Ariadna Montiel Reyes, dio a conocer que a nivel nacional se beneficia a más de 10 millones de personas adultas mayores y a un millón de niñas y niños con discapacidad con una pensión bimestral.
